Cor-Pak VpCI Polycoated Paper is coated with a polyethylene coating, 6# LDPE to provide a moisture barrier and/or moisture-vapor barrier. This Cortec product is produced with the highest quality 40# neutral natural kraft paper and offers an exceptional resistance to water, oil and grease. Parts protected with it can be painted, welded and soldered. The thin protective film doesn't influence the physical properties of most sensitive electrical and electronic components, including conductivity and resistance. In addition, the paper basestock for the VpCI coating is produced with closely packed cellulose fibers which form a relatively non-permeable sheet. Conforms to military specifications MIL-P-3420E.
One product for all ferrous and non-ferrous metals including carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel, cast iron, aluminum alloys, copper, brass and solder. This paper can be used to protect products for storage and shipment by wrapping single items or interleaving between multiple items. It is non-toxic and contains no nitrites, phosphates, silicones, chromates or other heavy metals. The typical applications are the metals industry, metal forging and die casting, metalworking and finished products like engines, machinery, equipment, tools, hardware, instruments, motors and electrical and electronic components, controls and printed circuit boards.
